Sustainable from fiber to processing
Sustainable production starts with the choice of materials. Our fabrics are made from recycled raw materials, among other things. Thanks to an advanced printing technique, we save approximately 1,000 liters of water per 50 meters of fabric. No harmful substances are used during the dyeing process.
Waste management is also part of our strategy. Through the Waste Sorting Program, waste is sorted directly at the source, with the goal of achieving at least 90% recycling. Surplus textiles are reused or upcycled within our own supply chain.
Working Together Toward Circular Progress
Royal Vriesco a member of Circulair Friesland: a network of businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies that are actively working to build a circular economy.
Through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and concrete action, we are accelerating the transition to circular solutions—both regionally and beyond. Not through lengthy analysis, but through targeted action.
People, Planet, Profit in Balance
People
Our organization is built around skilled professionals. We make a sustained investment in long-term employability, training, and knowledge development. In collaboration with regional vocational and higher vocational education programs, we are developing an internal Living Lab where innovation and practical experience come together.
Diversity and inclusion are integral parts of our policy. Through our internal social initiative, the L.A.P. Atelier, we offer women who are distanced from the labor market a safe and professional work environment. Here, leftover materials are given a high-quality second life.

In production and logistics, we make demonstrably sustainable choices:
